FFL transfers
We receive firearms from licensed dealers and online retailers. Pick up and complete the paperwork at the counter, Saturday or Sunday, 9am-4pm.
How buying a firearm online works
Firearms bought online cannot ship to your door. They ship to a licensed dealer (an FFL), and you complete the transfer in person. Here is the whole process.
TODO
Standard transfer
TODO: set your transfer fee for a firearm shipped from a licensed dealer, and add rows for any other cases you price differently.
-
Arrange the transfer with an FFL dealer
That's us. Contact the shop and have the seller ship your firearm to ARMSTOPIA LLC. Most online retailers can send our license details directly.
-
Choose a firearm and complete your purchase
Buy from any licensed seller or online retailer, and list us as the receiving FFL dealer for the shipment.
-
Pick up your firearm and complete the transfer
Come in on the weekend with your ID. The Form 4473 and the background check happen at pickup, and you leave with your firearm once the check clears.
What to bring
- Valid government-issued photo ID with your current address
- Your order confirmation or tracking number
- Payment for the transfer fee

Before you buy
You must be the actual buyer. Federal law prohibits straw purchases: never buy a firearm on behalf of someone else, and never for anyone prohibited from possessing one.
New firearms become used at transfer. Once a new firearm is transferred to you, it is considered used, even if unfired. Choose carefully before you complete a purchase, because a transferred firearm cannot simply be returned as new.
Federal transfer requirements
All firearm sales are completed in strict compliance with federal law. Firearms are transferred in person at a licensed dealer, where the required ATF Form 4473 and background check are completed before any firearm changes hands.
